18 women from our family spent 3 nights in this beautiful home. It was just as shown. Comfortable, well appointed, and absolutely perfect for our group.

We had a large group who were in town for a wedding at Powell Gardens. The accommodations were perfect. It allowed us to have our own rooms and space and come together for meals and entertainment. This place is very well appointed. Loved the separate apartment. Everyone had fun playing ping pong, and the other games. Great place to stay!!!

Our family flew in from around the country and met at The Hawthorne in KC in May. We had 16 adults, and had MORE than enough space and MORE than enough to do at the house, with the inside and outside activities available. We were in town for a wedding in downtown KC and had no trouble getting Uber/Lyfts for the 17 minute ride. Each morning we poured our coffee in the little “coffee” room off the kitchen and congregated in the sun filled, yellow, breakfast room which opens up to the front porch. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the little putting green, and basketball hoop. There were plenty of yard chairs and table space for our whole group to sit or eat outside. In the evening we enjoyed the outdoor fire. I wasn’t worried if it would have rained, as there are several options for a gathering space inside-including the party garage with many options for fun and entertainment. The party garage door opens right up to the backyard and all of this is right off the kitchen. It is a very convenient layout. There are multiple refrigerators and a perfectly supplied kitchen with everything we needed for cooking or serving food. The bedrooms are huge and almost every bedroom has its own bathroom!! The owners are very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend!! And we hope to enjoy this or one of their other properties again someday!
